May 24, 2010

Haledon, NJ – Today Passaic County Sheriff Jerry Speziale has endorsed Mayor Domenick Stampone, Council President Maha Kandis, and council candidates Mounir Almaita and Michael Johnson in the June 8th Democratic Primary Election in Haledon.

“Domenick Stampone is a good friend and has been an excellent Mayor of Haledon,” stated Speziale. He is always fighting for Haledon and looking for ways in which the Sheriff’s Department and borough can work together to share services and reduce the burden on the local property taxpayer. It's fair to say that Mayor Stampone always puts Haledon’s residents first.”

“His team covers all the bases – strong on education, public safety, and a proven record of accountability to the residents. Council President Maha Kandis has been fighting to improve Haledon and has been a strong ally. Council candidates Mounir Almaita and Michael Johnson will bring fresh perspectives to the Borough Council. As a career law enforcement officer myself, I know Paterson Police Detective Johnson has the tools and know-how to keep the community safe for our children and families. This is why I am supporting the real Democrats in Haledon, the Stampone-Kandis-Almaita-Johnson team in the June 8th Democratic Primary.”
